You Know You’ve Been Living In the Moment When…

I love to party plan, host, and execute a fun kids’ birthday party like nobody’s business. Historically, this hasn’t always come to fruition without stress and a temper tantrum or two – from ME of course, not my children. With each party, I’ve realized that my kids don’t know what they are missing, only what they are getting. Likewise, I’ve realized guests are truly there for the birthday cutie and not the pomp and circumstance that surround said cutie. Lastly, I’ve realized to back the heck off from the crazy choo choo express and just chill.  And chill I did…....

Mojitos & Munchkins recently had the opportunity to review a fabulous new product on the market, and are happy to share it with our readers! And who doesn’t love that concept as a parent? We love the chair cover because of all of its’ intricate details. In addition...

Our 4th of July fun… Crafts. Kids’ parade. Hot dog bar.

Happy Independence Day from Mojitos & Munchkins! My little MUNCHKINS had a fun week leading up to the 4th, helping me put together decorations and party food for our annual 4th of July bash. And I may or may not have had a few MOJITOS to sample drinks. Hey, a good host wouldn’t want to serve her guests bad drinks, right?? Thanks to Hostess with the Mostest, Saving by Design, and Glue Dots for their inspiration!

A Sparkly Good Time For This Pink & Gold Birthday Party!!

We had an absolute blast celebrating our littlest lady’s first birthday.  She appropriately chose pink & gold as her color scheme and requested as much glitter & shine as humanly possible…… Or at least that is what I interpreted her sweet smiles to imply in the months leading up to her big milestone 🙂

Rainbow Birthday Party

As my precious Madiana reached her first birthday, she was IN LOVE with all things colorful.  I won’t lie, I was inspired by the multi-colored layer cake I ran across on Pinterest while pregnant with her, so her interest in colors worked to solidify my plan.  Baby girl’s world would be in FULL COLOR as she rang in her second year of life.  What better birthday party for her than a RAINBOW PARTY!!!  It was a TON of fun to plan and put together! First up – Invitations!   After fussing over props and accessories used during her in-home photo...

E-I-E-I-O Party 0

E-I-E-I-O Party

I LOVED planning #2’s second birthday party!  Her favorite song is currently “Old McDonald Had a Farm” and she adores animals, so what choice did I have other than an E-I-E-I-O party for my princess?!?!  I got a lot of great ideas off of Pinterest…. Some of which seemed way too complex for a two year old’s birthday 🙂  In the end, this is what I came up with.  She enjoyed it and that is all that matters! Click on the pictures below to see them larger. Birthday Invitation:  I created using my FABULOUS digital scrapbooking software (MyMemories), with specific...
