Five Minute Friday:: Enjoy.

Latte in hand. Leggings on. Decently picked up kitchen. Children’s laughter in the background. I can truly say I am enjoying this moment. I sometimes struggle with the simplicity of enjoy. It seems easy enough, sure. But there is always something to clean, dinner to start, work to finish, a fight to put out between three tiny humans still sculpting their troubleshooting craft. It’s hard to take time when there is no time to take. Lately, I’ve been called to put duties on hold and try to enjoy. Enjoy the moments. Enjoy the problem solving. Enjoy the challenges. Who am I? I am a mother to three fabulous young children. People know me as, “Madiana’s mom” at dance class, “Gretchen’s mom” when I pick up from daycare, and “Brecken’s mom” when I’m seen in the halls of my son’s elementary school.
